Hi! I'm Juna (pronounced like the month "June" but with an "-ah" at the end, haha.) I was born and raised in the suburbs of Tokyo, Japan, but there are a few more places my heart calls 'home'. After ten years of being a wannabe military brat attending a school in an American Air Force Base in Japan, I transferred to a Japanese school in the metropolis of Tokyo for five years. At the age of sixteen, I made one of my biggest life decisions: to move to the U.S. to pursue my dream of becoming a musical theatre actress. I spent my last two years of high school at a boarding school in Minnesota: Shattuck-St. Mary's School (also nationally known for its prestigious hockey program), taking part in their vocal performance/theatre intensive program which ultimately led me to Bloomington, IL, where I received a BFA degree in Music Theatre at Illinois Wesleyan University. I recently made the move to the big apple, and am eager to be beginning my journey!
